MINNESOTA NORTH STARS

(1967 - 1992)

 

The Minnesota North Stars joined the NHL as an expansion team in 1967. The team made it to the Cup finals but never managed to win a title. In 1992, the team nearly moved to San Jose but they were given an expansion team instead. The team shortened its name to the 'Stars' for one final season before moving on to Dallas.
