LOS ANGELES SHARKS

(1972 - 1974)

 

The Los Angeles Aces were the intended charter franchise in the WHA in 1972. However, prior to the start of the season, the San Francisco Sharks shifted their franchise to Quebec City and the LA team took on the Shark name. The Sharks lasted just two seasons before relocating to become the Michigan Stags.
