CHARLOTTETOWN ISLANDERS

(1968 - 1970)

The Charlottetown Islanders played in the Maritime Junior 'A' Hockey League in the late 1960's. This was a full blown Junior 'A' league that competed for the Memorial Cup. In 1970, the league was downgraded to the new 'Tier II' category and the team was now being called the PEI Islanders..
