(1917 - Present)

The name St. Michaels Buzzers goes back at least as far as 1917. The team competed in the Prep School Grouping of the OHA. In 1934, the team made it to the finals of the OHA. They lost out to their 'A' team. It marked the last year of the Buzzers playing in the Junior 'A' as they were relegated to the new Junior 'B' level the following season.

The Buzzers appear to have suspended operations in 1961. At this time, the Majors were having difficulty with the travel and the new Metro Junior 'A' Hockey League was formed. The Majors lasted one final season in that league. The Buzzers did not return to Junior 'B' Hockey until 1963. They also appear to have sat out the 1966-67 and 1989-90 season.

The team rejoined the Metro Junior 'B' Hockey League in 1990 and in 1991, the league was upgraded to Junior 'A' status. The Buzzers moved over to the Provincial Junior 'A' Hockey League in 1995 but missed a couple of seasons (1997-99) before rejoining the league. They are part of the league today.
