ST. MICHAELS COLLEGE, ONTARIO
St. Michaels College competed in the Junior hockey ranks as far back as 1906. In the early going, they competed in a College grouping with Toronto area schools such as Upper Canada College, St. Andrews College and University of Toronto Schools. By the 1930's they were icing two teams each year. In fact, in 1934 as the Junior teams played down to determine the OHA representative in the Memorial Cup playdowns, the finals wound up with the St. Mikes Majors facing off against the St. Mikes Buzzers. The 'A' team clobbered their 'B' team. It marked the end of one level hockey as Junior 'B' was introduced the following year.
The St. Mikes Majors won Memorial Cups in 1934, 1945, 1947 and 1961.
The school continues as one of the few competing in the Junior hockey ranks.
