SIMCOE JETS

(1972 - 1981)

In 1972, the Simcoe Chargers moved up to join the Central Junior 'C' League and became the Jets. In 1974, the Jets moved over to join the Niagara District Junior 'C' League. In 1976, the Jets moved up to join the newly formed Southwestern Ontario Junior 'B' Hockey League. In 1978, the league disbanded with the Jets moving on to join the Golden Horseshoe Junior 'B' League. In 1980, they returned to the Niagara District Junior 'C' League. The team finally ceased operations in 1981.
