MARKHAM ROYALLS
(1973 - 1979)
In 1973, the Markham Waxers left the Metro Junior 'B' League to move up into the Tier II Provincial Junior 'A' League. A new team called the Markham Royalls joined the Metro league to fill their spot. The two junior teams shared the market for several seasons and were affiliated with one another as shown on the joint puck below. The Royalls ceased operations in 1979. Not sure why Royalls is spelled with two 'L's'.
