KENORA, ONTARIO
Kenora is located on the 'Lake of the Woods' near the Manitoba and Minnesota border. While in Ontario, it has often participated in the Manitoba hockey leagues due to its geography.
Kenora's biggest hockey claim to fame is the fact that the Kenora Thistles won the Stanley Cup back at the beginning of the 1900's when it was a challenge cup. They did not hold the Cup for long but they are the smallest community to ever win the most coveted trophy in all of hockey.
