CHATHAM MAROONS

(1978 - 1986)

The Chatham Maroons rejoined the Senior level in 1978, when they joined the Continental Senior 'A' league. The league essentially took over the name of OHA Senior 'A' Hockey League in 1980 since it was now the only Senior 'A' league left in the OHA. The Maroons hung on until the end of the league in 1986. The team did continue though as the Chatham Pontiacs.
