ALVINSTON FLYERS

(1988 - Present)

The Alvinston Flyers started out in the Western Junior 'D' Hockey League in 1988. There had been a Flyer team in the old Shamrock Junior 'D' and Bluewater Junior 'C' leagues of the 1960's. The league was renamed the OHA Development League in 1991. The Flyers moved on to the Great Lakes Junior 'C' Hockey League in 1994 where they remain today.
