ACTON, ONTARIO
Acton, along with Georgetown, make up the bulk of the amalgamated town of Halton Hills located west of Toronto. Acton has a long hockey history at the Junior level. They competed for the Memorial Cup back in the 1930's when there was only one level of Junior hockey. Acton teams found a home in Junior 'C' when the level was formed in 1937. WWII interrupted the Acton hockey scene but they returned to competition in 1945 facing off against Orangeville in Junior 'C' Group 3 competition.
