WINNIPEG JETS

(1967 - 1973)

Most hockey fans would be familiar with the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA. However, the team name originated with the Winnipeg Jets of the WCHL. The team was formed in 1967 as an expansion team. The club changed its name to the Clubs in 1973.
